A session at one of our feeders where we have already caught almost 70 Redpoll came up trumps again this morning. Near perfect weather--cold, still and reasonably dull--led to a good catch of over 80 birds. Of these, there were a few already ringed Redpoll and other retraps, but the majority of birds-68, were unringed; and of these there were another 37 new Redpoll and 12 new Siskin. One of the already ringed Redpoll was carrying a ring applied by some other ringers--we will publish these when we get results back from the BTO
Also there should be some smashing images of some of the birds taken by Keith Clowes.
